African Storage Basket
One handle w/ a conical lid that looks to be leather.
I believe from Ethiopia
Age? no clue
just over 21" tall
It has a wonderful almost sweet smell when you take the lid off....what is this smell I wonder?
Purchased this Giant from a local thrift store.
I'm going to use this to store my seeds I have harvested from my outside plants for next season. Right now I have my seeds stuffed in pottery pieces all around the house ;) now they will be in one place and easy to find come next spring.
