I found this girls and boys bicycles that belonged to my dad and his sister. They were behind some buildings that we were cleaning out after my dad passed away. The boys bike has a Viking label on the front that is somewhat readable. I have no idea who made the girl's bike. I need help identifying and understanding potential value.

We are not to give values on this site. The Viking brand name was by Eatons Canada.

They'd be a hard restoration. The surface rust looks fairly deep. Doable, but financially, with consideration to time, not likely worth doing much but some Rustoleum and a nice spot in the garden.

Great family item but not much value other wise. Best you can do is stabilize the rust so they don't get worse and hang them on the side of a barn or a fence.

If that my fathers bike, I would buy new tires and tubes. Oil all the necessary parts and I would ride that thing, Just so I could live a piece of his life experience. Rust?, what rust, I don't see any rust, I see history, your fathers history. That is priceless.

I agree with Mystaplers, forget the restoration the bikes are a family keepsake. Oil them, buy new tires and ride them.
