    Hi
I bought this set from the uk it is Imari as you can see with a blue crown marking and I have been trying day and night to find the maker and year to no avail.

I want to collect a whole tea set and would like to know more about it.

It has imperfection manufacture faults eg, some tiny grain lumps and marks but a very elegant set.

    Appreciate any help
    Thank you

It’s lovely. A view of the shape of the handle would help, and a clearer look at the shape of the cup. My first thought was Royal Crown Derby, but I can’t find that crown with them. I will have to dig out my books of backstamps and see what turns up.

I have checked my various books and can’t find the blue crown mark. However, when I googled Derby Imari patterns, quite a lot look similar to yours! I can’t see the pattern on your cup from your pictures though. I think your cup could be quite old, and you certainly should be able to find that pattern on newer china if you want a whole set, though it would be expensive.

      Dear Collector,
Did you ever find out any more about this Imari tea set with a single blue crown marking? I have the same set and have spent all day trawling the internet to no avail?
      Many thanks, HG
