I got this wonderful toy take-apart tank when my parents moved into a retirement home. What I do know about it is that it was one of my dad's (born 1939) favorite toys. He loved to take things apart before putting them back together (which served him well because he became an engineer and inventor).

I first played with this toy myself at my grandparents' house, his boyhood home, where for years it was enjoyed by many grandkids.

It's now found it's way to my house, but I don't know much about it. I'm hoping someone here can help.

    Thanks! Rachel

One like it sold on eBay a long time ago and now shows up on worthpoint.com. I don't subscribe to worthpoint so I don't know what it sold for and don't think they knew any more about it.
