Couldn't resist this for 99c...a 'miniature' mug to go along with my other two 'full sized' ones in the windowsill. :-) :-)

    https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/225698-two-aandw-root-beer-mugs

It is 3-1/4" high and 2-3/8" across. (without the handle) No idea offhand what it would have been used for beyond a 'promotional item', as I don't believe rootbeer floats ever came in 'infant size'...?? <lol>

for clicking that <love it> button, despite my tardiness in reply?! ;-) :-) :-)

Ain't it fun to find oneself having *three* of some/anything?? (vs. just one, or even 'a pair'...?) 'Threes' just display so nicely, sitting together...?? <LOL>

Here in Florida it was a treat to go on the A&W on payday which was Friday Dad mom and us 4 kids would pile in dads big old 57 chevy and go there. The root beer came in 3 sizes as did their burgers the papa mama and baby . I remember keeping one of the baby mugs and getting in trouble. Mama got the switch and the mug was returned on our next trip.

Indiana Glass?! I did not know that Indiana Glass was a maker of A&W mugs. I have several of the middle size from the 1960s and one of the baby mugs. I've passed on getting the large mug a couple of times as it is so large. Here is a link to a history of the role of Indiana Glass in making these mugs. Apparently there are still 1000 A&W's in existence. A&W was 100 years old in June 2019. We still have one in the town where I live. I wonder where in China their mugs are made now?

@keramikos - Nice! The original Steak & Shake restaurant is in my town, but the company sold it about 10 years ago and it is now a pizza joint. Sad.

I have a plethora of A&W mugs small and large, a stuffed bear, and bear straws.
