I believe these are a set of petite Loetz vases in Diana Glatt ca. 1900. Ricke shows a pattern PN II-146 of which many were produced in this color. An earlier shape, version PN I-8023 (ca. 1899), also exists but the pattern has been lost.

They are just over 5" tall and have a great yellow-green base color with lots of purple and orange iridescence and polished pontils. I love the applied handles which are clear, also with purple iridescence.

These little gems are in awesome shape with sterling overlay in a great Art Nouveau rendition of Cyclamen flowers, leaves and seed balls. The silver mark is too worn to identify.

One of my many collecting foci is botanical depictions of plants and flowers. The silver is so similar to my set of blue Max Emanuel vases that I am suspicious they were made by Loetz for that company.

      Hi Sammyz
Think your description of Gelbgrun is probably a better description of the color than the Diana one ... although I do get Diana mixed up with Norma and Cisele ... think it has some variation to the iridescence ... as opposed to glatt ...
      Nice find !

Thanks SteveS! I have found it easy to locate lists of Loetz colors, but I haven't found one that describes each color! These are definitely more yellow than my Olympia green vase, but not nearly as thickly-coated and iridescent as my crete Norma vase. So, I just used colloquial terms to describe what I saw. I think Cisele's are usually spotty and not one solid color...
