I haven't a clue as to what this is. I do know it is very old and a bit heavy. Appears to be Terrier dogs holding an ashtray. Painted red. Purchased at estate sale. The bowl is 4 3/4"D - Dogs are about 3 1/2" L - Height is 3 1/8"H

I really like this... it's got plenty of character.
      How big is it?

Hi Anik; The bowl is 4 3/4"D. Dogs are about 3 1/2" L. Has a carved style cut to it.

Ah, so not very big. I know you called it an ashtray, but in my imagination, I was thinking it would be a great flower pot holder :)

I hope someone will be able to help you get more information on it.
