All hand made wood face with gears. When you open mouth the tongue comes out and the ears move forward. Bought about 15 years ago and know nothing of its history.

I think it's the head of a dragon used in a Chinese New Year's parade. It would be attached to a long fabric body of some kind that would cover the person carrying the head and a few other people. The person at the head of the dragon would open the mouth to make the tongue and ears move too.
