    Found this in a box lot I bought at auction this weekend and am curious as to what this is. Being X military am quite familiar with the huge "safety pins" and think there is a laundry connection, but... Please let me know your thoughts!

      Yep-- they are laundry pins. Larger ones for mesh bags and smaller ones for individual garments. The number allowed all items associated with one customer to be collected/ gathered after washing.

      Thanks a lot scottvez! Thought it was something along those lines as I used one of the large "safety pins" to close my mesh laundry bag in the Marine Corps. Sure it's not a valuable item but made my wife happy!
