Armless rocking chair. is it worth keeping or sell the darn thing.

I bought this at a yard sale for my wife thinking that she could use it for when she has the baby in December. I bought it from an woman about 75 years in age and said she used it to nurse her children. So I'm thinking this chair is at least 50 years. We live in Ontario, Canada.

So, I brought the chair home and let my wife try it out. She liked the look but not in our nursery. Now, I have a 50 some odd year old chair sitting in my living room that my wife is not a fan of. I'm thinking that I might have to let it go but before I do, I'd like to know a little more about it.

The rocking chair is about 40 inches tall and the seat is 15inches wide. The crest looks like a woman and the design could be native american. I've tried looking for some sort of brand or model but I can't seem to find any.

Any thoughts on where its from, age, and price would be wonderful.
