Well is it or isn’t it a Instone or Shipton ring. I have been studying both rings that are in this posting, there are quite a few small differences which are interesting. First the large spaces that are in between the flowers and leaves on the moss stone ring which you do not have on the Aquamarine ring. The Aquamarine ring is in my opinion a far better quality the construction is superior. I’m wondering if the Aquamarine ring is a earlier ring. The Aquamarine stone is facetted as the Moss Stone is cabochon.
I’ll put the link of the Moss Stone below in the links if your interested.
I wasn’t going to buy another rings like these but the price was excellent and I couldn’t resist, I’m glad I bought it as it truely is a lovely ring.

Beautiful . Like the caribbean sea the color of aquamarine . Love
Thank you Manikin, yes that Aquamarine is a stunning colour :-)))
I couldn't choose between these Jean, both so lovely. I really like the moss agate and the open work and the little flower detail at the base of the mount run.
Of course, the aquamarine is divine!
Hi Karen, thank you for your comment. I did test the stone and I now think it is glass. I know there have been a lot of these rings that have made over the decades, I was wondering if you could tell by the metal work of the time period.
Many thanks
