I unpacked a long lost box today and ran across this meat slicer. I have owned it for years but packed it away and forgot about it. I remember buying it years ago at a thrift shop but never learned much about them. I have used it to slice a roll of redskin bolonga and it works very well still to this day. The blade is still sharp. It looks very cool and has a wood base. Other than my story since I have been caretaker of it, I know nothing about it.
Ooohh! I have one too, slightly different, mine hasn't the "pusher".
I use it for slicing "saucisson" :-P
Thank you nutsabotas6 and kyratango for the comments and thanks to Caperkid and fortapache for the love also.
This is safer than a mandolin slicer.
That is a really interesting slicer. Looks like one would need lots of Band-Aids and replacement finger tips.
It's not bad fortapache, I am amazed
by the blade because it is still very sharp.
