Funny, had this all written and the server failed to load it so I have to rewrite it, as if the powers that be are still shutting down the voices of dissent - go figure... This is the March 26, 1970 issue of the SAN JOSE RED EYE, a harder to find Underground Newspaper with this issue sporting a powerful Anti-Vietnam image. Not the kind of visual I would have encountered in our daily Manchester Union Leader, but the kind of imagery you'd find nation-wide in what is known as the Counter Culture, Underground or Clandestine Press.

Is there an explanation for the front page score card?

Pretty funny - I'm betting the editor didn't foresee that interpretation.
