    Hammered copper kettle with Lionshead Ring retainers, no markings or background info, appears to be a vtg or antique kettle, Lionsheads are braze attached thru the kettle wall, obtained at an estate sale.

      Initial cleaning reveals that the Lionsheads are brass, the round copper " bulb " legs appear to have a wood or some form of weighted "fill" inside them, as they have a dull thud-like rattle when kettle is shaken. The bottom pan of the kettle is brazed/soldered to kettle walls, braze is decaying as slight seepage of liquid was passing.
