This decorative 9 1-2" teapot by Fitz and Floyd of Dallas TX is dated 1986, and features my favorite variety of monkey, the capuchin, who are service animals today capable of dialing telephones & other helpful things. The monkey brooch is a large 3", with golden rhinestones and two dangling leaves.
He's to cute :-)

Thanks ho2, yes I used to love Fitz & Floyd pottery from their 70s-90s period when they made a lot of animal & sea shell items. They were founded in 1960 in Texas by two partners who I think sold the co., there is an online website but not sure if they still sell items to dept stores. Sometime soon I will post some more animal & tropical vintage F&F ceramics - thank you very much for the luv & kind words

I wonder if this particular teapot will become rare in the future, cannot be much of these were made I would think !~
Thanks DejaVu & Thomas for the love for this monkey pair, and Phil for your great comment!
Phil, I do believe the Fitz & Floyd ceramic series has become more valuable over time, I love this teapot esp because the monkey is so realistic...and I'm a fire monkey in Chinese astrology, another reason I like it :)
