Hello everyone.
Bought this ring last week from a local Ebay seller. It was described as Vintage sterling silver onyx ring. It was a Buy it Now listing for $55, so of course I jumped on it :-)
This ring has all the signs of "School of Rhoda Wager" pieces, and of being made by "Prouds" as discussed with Jewels1900.
It is decorated with gum leaves on the sides, and grape leaves to the top and bottom. The curious thing here is the extra flower in between the gum leaves!! I have not come across this before, perhaps Jewels 1900 will recognize it.
Kyratango & I both have a granite ring made by Prouds where Kyra's has the grape leaf and mine has the gum leaf.
So, I guess the question is: was this ring made by Prouds??
Jewels 1900 also posted 2 pendants, one is very similar to this ring, I will try and post the link in comments.
Also, this is a quite a large ring 3cm top to bottom and it doesn't have any berries either. Anyway, I have waffled on for long enough and I hope it makes sense lol !! And you love it like I do. Thanks Judy

Hi Judy a lovely ring, I’m still waiting to come across a definite Wager piece. I’ve looked at the link you’ve posted and in the third photo the ring with the green stone as definitely the same flower shape.
Hi Jean, thank you, your turn will come, I wouldn't mind finding a signed piece, that would be exciting!
Do you think so Jean? I can't see it myself and I have turned the picture every way to study it lol, maybe I should get some new glasses!
Thanks for commenting Jean, lovely to see you here:-) )
Really beautiful onyx ring Judy, in that lovely sterling setting
Hi Judy, looking at the photo again I think I’m the one who needs glasses lol.
Wooh Judy! Beautiful one! The flower is a mystery to me either :-)
Thanks Jenni for the lovely comment, I can never pass up these double shank arts and craft rings, for the right price of course! I Really love them:-) )
Lol Jean, I hope Jewels 1900 will stop by for a look when she gets time:-)
Thanks Pascale, it's pretty nice! Oh, and still a pinky ring!!
I got such a shock when I saw it for sale and would you believe the seller only lived about ten minutes from where we just moved from!
Now I need to find a pendant like the one Jewels showed us! :-) )
I think this is a beautiful, drool-worthy, envy-making, loveliest ring I've seen in a long time. Couldn't ask for anything more.
Oh my goodness Gillian! Thank you for your fantastic, enthusiastic and wonderful comment :-) ) You have made my day!!:-) ) )

I see it has a flower on the “left” side. Is there a gumdrop on the “right” of the onyx?
Hello Parandiheads, it seems to me to have the exact same flower on both left and right sides of the onyx........any idea what it might be?:-)
