Sumatran Cloth with little Mirrors?

I purchased this piece of cloth from a friend at the Alameda Flea Mkt yesterday. He has a lot of really amazing pieces - particularly fabric items. He said that this piece is from Sumatra, and i did see similar cloth when i was there many years ago. there are little shiny things in it - maybe little mirrors? the cloth is approx. 1 yd wide by 1.5 yds long.
