I know that "Diaphanous" pertains mostly to fabric and denotes light, delicate and translucent materials but this blown glass panelled vase fits the definition to a T. It measures only 4 1/4" tall by 3 1/4" in diameter and has 8 panels that are slightly swirled. The base is flat with a deep polished pontil. The colour is opalescent cream even though the photos show it as light green. Has anybody seen anything similar or know who could have made this vase and when. Thanks, RER
Beautiful shape and color!
It's hand blown and unsigned. Hard to tell. I love the color. (My kitchen tiles are that color!) It looks like it would glow inthe dark.
Thank you Newfld and Celiene for the comments and love and yes, it does glow marvelously under a black light. I have added a photo in my listing. BOB

Lovely. Nice ground pontil too :)
Thank you Vintagefran for the love and comments! It is quite an Eerie item that glows all by itself. BOB
Just realized that it could be British by John Walsh circa late 1800’s
