Author's of the United States print

An estate find, I wasn't sure who they were and the lady at the sale didn't know so I took a chance and this print is from a painting by Thomas Hicks. The engraving plate was done by Alexander Hay Ritchie in 1866. The prints were made public in 1872 by The Independent. These are all famous writers from before the Civil War, such as Poe, Washington Irving, Longfellow, Margaret Fuller, and many more. the size is 19 by 35 inches. For being in an attic it is not in that bad of shape, some outer water damage but the main print is good. Just thought I would share it.
