There is a bit of Irony here as Superior Warranted Saws were actually inferior saws made by Disston. Their high quality saws had their own brand name on them. This seems like a pretty good saw to me so their name brand saws must be the Rolls Royce of saws.
As to this saw it is a 2 man or one man saw. The front handle can be moved to the back such that one man could work it. It is sort of a man and a half saw.
Lumber used to be the big industry up here. There was a lumber mill less than quarter mile from here. Trees literally grow like weeds here and by literally I mean they actually grow like weeds. Anyway I have been looking for a good saw for my side of the house tool display but this one is so nice I had to put it inside.
Apparently from 1915-1941 which seems reasonable but is not solid information.
A bit of information I forgot to include. The tooth pattern is called the Tuttle or Campion. The purpose of the two pronged tooth was to clear debris while sawing. It was for sawing softwood like pine of which we have quite a bit.

Many decades ago when I lived up North we called these, The man killer. It takes heck of a good rhythm with the guy on the other end or it doesn't work out well.
