Has the look of a Rushton Company bear ? . Dating around 1950-60

Mike I think the ribbon down front is not original but maybe added to cover a open seam so you won't find that ribbon when you search.

Manikin I believe this ribbon is original. at the top part it is mounted does not look to have been added. It loos as though it was added when the head was attached. Thanks. Still researching.

Mike I would not spend to much time researching him since condition is pretty bad and not much resale value . The ribbon makes no sense to me that it looks like something that would catch a child's eye but it might be original . Gund and Ideal are other makers of these rubber faces .

It looks like a Rushton stuffed animal but I've never seen a Rushton doll with that type of eyelids.

I am very familiar with this bear, I am looking for one very similar. I had one back in 1959-1960, except his fur was brown.
I don't recall his eyes opening and closing, but they very well could of. I mostly remember his kind a creepy smile.
If you see him let me know, his name is Teddy.
