Authentic Vietnam War Protest "Cosmic Kernel" Helmet (c. 1969), hand painted with Dayglo paint and came with provenance. Measures approximately 11" x 9" x 7". The San Francisco Bay Area original owner's bio, as supplied the man who acquired the estate:

"His name was Roger May, and he was an underground cartoonist, production artist, photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area during the 1960's on through to his passing last year (2016). The seller acquired his personal library of books, comics, posters, etc., along with a lot of period artifacts that he held on to through the years. He was a political activist, and attended countless assemblies and rallies during those days either on assignment or as an attendee. His possessions are first hand artifacts from those times, and speak for themselves".
