This was spotted in a charity shop(alongside previous little box) and bought along with it for €3. Beautiful dolphin design on it, which to me looks slightly like ancient temple drawings of dolphins? Possibly a souvenir from Greece maybe?

Hi, I found this exact compact mirror today in my local thrift store. I was drawn to it because of it’s bright colors and unique dolphin. Mine has the exact details but the colors on the one I found are different. My dolphin is green, aqua blue, and pink. It’s immediate background is red and aqua blue, and the surrounding smaller dolphins are in gold, aqua, res accents. There is also a beautiful floral design on the back of the compact. Does your compact have flowers on the back as well? Also were you able to find out any information on the origin or creator of these compact mirrors? They definitely look vintage to me, I love yours in the different color scheme from mines as well! Really beautiful find!
