Amazing blue french Donkey. This was the mascot for the young working person village that was founded in Northern France in the 1060's.
Copainville means literally "friend village". The village is still there and it offers financial, advice, accommodation support.
Fascinating ornament. Never seen anything like it before and especially that snout and cannot find it online anywhere.
Has anyone seen anything like this before? thanks
