I'm curious what this type of sculptural configuration is called (by the experts have some clue what it is). And some idea of what style it is.
All I know is that it's made by Middletown Plate Company.

Could be a card receiver. Size?
You'd put it on a table near the front door and people would leave their calling cards on it.
