REDUX: mid century modern hanging globe light

I posted a couple quick pics of this light a few months ago here:

but just today finally got around to actually hanging it up, albeit in a sorta 'non permanent' fashion with a power cord instead of actual 'in ceiling' wiring. The "lit" pictures here are with a 60w red incandescent bulb (also a rarity these days?!) inside it, and I also included a pic of the only maker's info it has (Thomas Industries Inc., Hopkinsville KY) on its Underwriter's Laboratories label inside its ceiling bezel.
