OK this is the insulator I recently bought. It is a dark amber color. In the third photo it is in in-between my other two Diamond insulators of the same type. I believe these were used for telegraph lines and are smaller than other insulators. This one is 3 1/2" tall by 2 1/4"wide. The style is called CD 102 with the nickname of Pony.
As mentioned in the title it is from 1890-1913 making it a 100% antique.
Ah the good ol' insulators. I recall having some of these. (Btw fortapache. I'm ready to create the group when you are)
Nice old Canadian insulator. These make an awesome collection since they were made in a rainbow of different colors.
Thank you very much McCoyNelson. Will get back to work on that project.
Thank you very much flashlarue. They do have a good variety.
