This is a teacup i found while digging for old bottles. I couldn't find any information on it or the mark. it has what looks like gold leaf around the rim. For a reason i don't know, the mark is on the inside of the teacup instead of the bottom. the mark says :MINTONS
    TIFFANY & CO
    NEW YORK
    MADE IN ENGLAND
    Any information would be appreciated!
    Thanks, Catman

This would be used for a guest who only wants half a cup of tea. (Sorry but I couldn't resist)

My thoughts are that the bottom maybe the top, and it was covered or encased as not to be seen. So, most likely not a tea cup at all.

Looks like it might have had a gold rim.
