I really need some help with this piece: I don't think it is very old. The condition is excellent if you disregard some light wear on the gilded handle.
I believe it is pressed glass. The glass has a very light yellowish/greenish tint. The decoration appears to be mostly enamel but also some gilding. The little flowers remind me of the enamel decoration on Czech, Venetian, or Japanese pieces but the style is different, so I don't think it comes from any of these places.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking:)
Many thanks, vetraio50:)

It's been mould blown and the handle added later. Gudrun, this might be Japanese. I tried to copy the link but it didn't work so if you search Narumi jug here in CW you will see a piece with some similar characteristics. See what you think. :)
Actually it's under Decorative Glass Pitcher from Japan.
Racer4four, you solved my mystery! I found your jug and I think your jug and my basket match perfectly. Thanks so much!
