I got this mirror from my mother who was a collector and me an her would trade finds. It's a beautiful copper with great images of Washington , Lincoln, American Eagle, and the Capitol. It has a wood backing on it.
I seen one on the pickers show a few years ago. It may have been a centenial item.
I love these mirrors!
I have one with a Spanish American War motif (1898) and would think that yours is from the same time period.

Thank You all for loving this mirror, and Thank You scottvez for the era time frame. I thought it might have been around the countries centenial but never sure as no dates refer to it. I don't have a lot of my collection out as raising granddaughters it would be dangerous for most pieces but this I proudly display.
Glad to help out.
I'd encourage you to introduce collecting to your grand daughters at an early age. I am a father of five and all of my kids were around the stuff since birth. Supervised handling and "look, don't touch" (enforced at home) made trips to malls/ flea markets safe with three toddlers in tow!
In fact they all were helpful in spotting items at shops as they got older.

Thanks again scottvez, I do have my granddaughters starting their own collections as my sons have also. My youngest granddaughter has a M&M collection I help her with and she has over 200 pieces in her collection, some rare and old.
I do put out some but as children they play so I have a few nice broken pieces. I keep most in my collection room ( off limits unless I'm there) and in storage. I'll always love these kids but cautious.
