My turkey returns again for another Thanksgiving. This time I have the unique underside view. Took it off the wall which hasn't been done in about 5 years. Did shed a small feather here and there as can be seen on the floor.
It may be noted that the turkey has striking plumage just like the Norwegian Blue.
Anyone want a drumstick?
Happy Thanksgiving to you and all also.
I read somewhere that Amer. Indians wouldn't eat turkeys because they were also carrion feeders. "Hey, lets give these honkies one of these buzzards & see if they will eat it !". LOL !!
Nice bird....Happy Thanksgiving back at you :)
@ blunderbuss2...I especially love these tryptophan loaded buzzards on toasted rye with lots of mayo the day after Thanksgiving.
Happy turkey day!
Happy Turkey Day !!
Happy brownie, er, Turkey Day !
I know it's alive, just resting.
Ken, that must have been so cool!
Hey Nuts. You didn't get a shot at the biggest one ? LOL!!!!
Happy TG to you dlpetersen.
Thank you very much bb2. I've always had a feeling they were carrion eaters due to the featherless head. They are probably still laughing about that.
Happy Thanksgiving to you buckethead.
Happy Turkey day Newfld.
And happy TG to you Tanni.
Very cool nutsabotas6. Sadly we have now turkeys here but considering the size and that they can fly could be a good thing.
