This red glass etched vase is from, I believe, the last quarter of the 19th century in the Mohawk River area of upstate New York. It is 8 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide at the mouth. It has a smooth flat bottom. It does not feel delicate when you hold it. Any ideas on what kind of glass it is and when it might have been made?
