This set was gifted to me, and I'm trying to find out some information on it. It is a setting for 12. There are tea cups, bowls, salad plates, saucers, and dinner plates. They are gold rimed, fluted edges, and have a delicate gold border. On the tea cups, there is no visible stamp or marking. On the bottom of the bowl, the mark reads: "Hostess Tableware by British Anchor Staffordshire England, and there is a number 35 stamped. On the saucers, the stamp reads: Hostess Tableware by British Anchor Staffordshire England, and H5. On the bottom of the salad plates the stamp reads: Victoria, then there is a crown stamped and Est. 1884, British Anchor Staffordshire England, and gold number 6872. On the bottom of the dinner plate, the stamp reads: Victoria, with a crown stamped, Est. 1884, British Anchor Staffordshire England. On all pieces there is a single ring of flowers, a pink rose and other flowers around the perimeter. I'm very interested in any information about my set.

According to this website, a great resource for Staffordshire potteries, the Anchor pottery company’s Hostess line was introduced in 1961. Victoria is probably the pattern name. Here is the link, although your particular mark is not shown, we know is must be from 1961 or later
