I have this lovely old Brooch I am trying to identify. The Pin side is 1 3/4" long. Across bottom from ribbon tip to ribbon tip it measures 1 1/2" . There are 6 red cut oval rhinestones and clear cut rhinestones inset in the bow. I believe the metal is Rhodium plated. It has no mark other than the stamped numbers 2524. I have heard that some pieces by Boucher did not have a signature but did have a style or design number. I looked up the number and if it is Boucher it would have been made in 1947. Any help to confirm that or to correct it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
It is rhodium plated, beautiful !~
It is indeed Boucher! After an even closer inspection, I found the Phrygian Cap and the initials MB slightly under the edge of the pin hinge.
