Hello everyone.
I had forgotten about this figurine until Jenni posted her lovely glass Thumper figure!
Have had this Goebel Disney Bambi and Thumper since 2004, bought from an op shop for next to nothing.
It is marked on the base Germany with the bee mark as well as W. Goebel. There is also DIS 10 and 65 impressed.
DISNEY is also marked on the top between Bambi & Thumper.
This figurine measures 10cm long x 8cm high and is in really nice condition.
I think this is pretty cute, hope you enjoy seeing something different from me! Thanks, Judy
Judy I just adore this, brings back so many memories of the actual film which I saw as a little girl. Wow that is a rare item, & being Goebel must be valuable. Really love it - J.
And before y'all think I'm 100 since Bambi came out in 1942, I wasn't even born then, saw it in a movie replay with my mom many years later lol!

To be honest I'm not really sure how old this would be.....I did look into it when we first got it but it all depends on the bee symbol and there are so many variations of it that I got totally confused and gave up.
Oh, I should check ebay and see if there are any....haven't done that for quite a while......back into the cabinet for it now!
Hi Judy, a couple days ago I saw a Bambi with the butterfly on his tail (going for 75 bucks)!!!
This one looks like it's got some age to it...he is sooo cute AND he's got Thumper!!!

This is fantastic Judy!!! I love all of the Goebel figures. I actually have a Goebel collectors book.

Based on the Goebel hallmark, used on this one, it's from 1950. That was the hallmark used in 1950. I changed slightly in later years. Very nice find Judy!!!
