    I got these lamps from my great grandmother (1896-1974). They are metal and, I believe, hand-painted. The shades are original, I think. I just rewired them, and they work very well. Do you know who may have made them and when? Any idea if they're valuable? Thank you!

      Fairly common and nice indeed. Collectors want these in perfect shape. Most of them have 18th centure figures painted on one side and flowers on reverse, but some just with flowers. Popular in the 40's to 50's mainly and referred to as George and Martha Washington lamps.
