early 20th century Uranium glass John Walsh Walsh compote measures 190mm or 7-1/2 inches.
The foot has a rough snapped pontil and marked WALSH.

Nice piece of Walsh. Love the colour. I can imagine the ring of the glass. Beautifully made.

I was quite surprised to see this item siting on a shelf in a second hand shop with a price tag of only $5 and think maybe people though it was plastic or a cheap Asian knock off but for me it was love at first sight and as soon as i felt the weight knew it was special and with the WALSH mark stamped on the snapped pontil made my heart beat faster and yes rings beautifully. cheers
