This is an ink on French typing paper done in 1953 by a gentleman for an underground newspaper..this gentleman was a historian and patriot...freedom fighter if you will..serving in the Hungarian Army as an officer then being captured by the russians and spent nearly five years in a pow camp in russia..he was released in 48 where he began to seek help for his country under the grip of communism..these drawings were for the young people of Hungary so that they might know the story of their people.
