These Maitland Smith Panels were in a home that we purchases about 9 years ago.
Does anyone have an idea of what these pieces are called, where the brand logo would be or any other information?
    They are 24"W x 80" H

Are we sure they're not a part of a former changing screen? Beautiful panels.

They are not part of a screen. I contacted the designer that purchased them. She said that it was from a local retailer but they have changed ownership and do not have any records remaining. That they are MS and are limited addition. Also, oddly enough, my current neighbor has the same Fox panel that she purchased locally from a different retailer but that store is also closed. She recalls that the store only had the one (Fox) panel and that it was Maitland Smith. Other than that, I can not find anything online about them concerning title, origin or the number in production. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I have a MS hand painted wall panel that I just had appraised at $1100. It is about the same size as yours but mine has a double sconce and is a painting of a giraffe, ostrich, and other animals wearing scarfs etc. they are very hard to find any info on so thought this might help you

I'm curious if you ever found out more information on these panels? I have a set myself

They are originally painted by french painter Alexandre François Desportes.

5 woven panels of his design came to auction at Christies and made a lot of money.
