1865 Engraved, color map of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Vellum,
36 X 31.5. Drawn by W.A. Hendry and Engraved by Philip & Son, Liverpool. Signed on back by William MacFarlane and dated 1865. Condition: average, detail and colors all good. It belonged to my grandfather, Dr. F.D. Charman of Truro Nova Scotia, born in Wallace Nova Scotia, given to him by the Capitan of a New England clipper ship, for medical treatment of a sick crew member on a voyage from Boston to Wallace, and discovered by myself in a box of his old papers. Special to me because of my love of Nova Scotia and the attachment to my family.
