Can anyone help me determine the style and era of this chair? Two of these were found in my mother-in-law‘s basement and they have a tag on the original cushion-bottom but no other identifying marks. I believe she had them prior to 1950 but after 1894, when her parents immigrated to the United States. Thank you!!

I inherited a similar style chair from my mother-in-law. Both chairs have an Asian flair and I think they could be Japanese from WW2. I've not yet been able to confirm it.
