    i bought a box of smalls yesterday - all tiny very grubby knicknacks. but there were some interesting things in there. like this Japanese goldfish. any info appreciated.

      yeah, he's pretty cool. it kind of looks like he's having a bad hair day.

      The red reminds me of Royal Bayreuth, Bavaria. They made some amazing card themed "dinnerware?" with playing cards on the base and a bright red devil sometimes looking in it or otherwise as a handle. I just came across an auction this week with a number of them with that theme. They are very beautiful, but I do not have room for them.
