I really love the Japanese sense of kawaii and how they apply it to everyday things.

The money box is a rocking mouse, with little glass eyes, cut whiskers, a string and ball tail, and a plastic bung in the base.
It's about 11cm long and 10cm high. It has a label on the base which reads: Nagaya Sangyo Co. Ltd.
    I'm guessing by the label it's 1970s.

The pig is actually a salt and pepper set. As you can see from the photos it separates into two pieces. The plastic bung in the base of the head is deep enough that the metal shaker section of the body fits in well to hold the two together.
The ears are red vinyl, the eyes are painted on, and he has a ball tail and oval, lighter wood, feet.
    About 11cm long when together.
    Pig is very 1960s!

Some more interesting animals to go with the others ones.If you can get a few more you can start a zoo.If my spoiled wiener dog doesn't straighten up and stay out of my cinnamon rolls I'll donate him to the project. The little runt can climb up anything.

Thanks Jim, and my daughter says yes please to your dog!
Keep feeding the cinnamon rolls and soon he his liddle legs won't hold him up, let alone enable climbing!
