does anyone have more info on these
The most logical question is how do you know they are from India and what reads them to be 1800's to 1900's? I don't see any markings on them in the pictures. How did you get the information you present in the post? If there are markings it would help to see them.
the blade is stamped, INDIA as for the age I inquired with a few antique collectors an that is the age bracket they gave me.
Thank you for the reply. If it is stamped only India and not Made in India then that places it pre tariff act when we required country of origin markings on imports. Information and details are quite important for dates etc.
fhrjr2-The details you collectors know is amazing!
Been a while since i been on here.
Is there anyone new that has a fresh out look an any additional information they may have on the history off these knives
These knives are new. Made in india is not required as said. How do I know this! Because my parents were buying these for their retail businesses for over 45 years. I still have a couple and when I say nrw. I'm talking about since the 1970s until we closed the business in 2005. That is the time frame that my parents sold these and dealt directly with the impoter. Sorry but made in isn't always required with those words right on the product.
