M1912 Mills Type 2 web belt

This is a like new Mills M1912 type 2 web belt. Manufactured early in 1913 this is the grandfather of all army web belts. The type 1 belt was missing the first 5 holes in the center of the belt and the type 3 and all later belts had a snap added. There as a bullet with Mills and the date 1913 stamped on the webbing and there is just the one patent date, January 29, 1901.
