This beauty I. recently inherited from my Mama. He is approximately 2'9" tall and 1'10" wide. He sits atop a square base that has 2 holes on two sides. I don't know how I got him home by my self but I would guess somewhere around500 lbs. and for being hollow that is amazing!
I have had many offers but I am enjoying having him watch over me! People who has seen him tell me he looks German but I couldn't say. The only one that has similar wings is gracing the entrance of a bank in Ohio.

The head & some other aspects, bring Germany to mind, but with it's arms up in surrender ? LOL !!!!

Very much art deco those wings and do remind me of the German eagle in WWII !~
