    This is a portable gramophone, probably from around 1925, the case is made from the same type of cardboard that school bags were made when I was a kid. I don't know a lot about this machine, information is scarce.

      Hi, I believe this to be made by an Australian Company called REXONOLA and this portable one is a REXOPORT model. I have one with similar running gear but in a Black case similar to HMV portables. The motor is a Thorens moter made by the Swiss. The tone arm comes off by turning into the case and lifting off. It has 2 pins that keep it in the base. Cheers.
