      The onyx works beautifully, much rarer than the green onyx, giving it a look of space, a desert landscape ! Onyx can let the light through and is more transparent than marble which is opaque, although the brown onyx also is more opaque than the green variety.

      The stone certainly has life, and maybe that is because of the slight translucency.
      Or the wax lol!

      Not really. However a high quality wax will improve and protect the finish...
