June 1953-the queens coronation . Taken by the schools photographer at sladefield rd infants school in ward end , Birmingham . I am in the front row dressed as an Arabian or Arab. I was.six years of age in the July . I rembered the day as cold and wet. There was a TV set up in the school so we could watch it being shown live . We had our first tv in 1956, my father sold a piano to get it.
