I bought a table set for my son and it badly needs refinished but before I do it I'd like to know more about it.this is one of the better chairs in the set. I would like to at least know the maker if possible.

I'm not your furniture guy, but I think the folks who know this stuff might need more than this photo to be of much help. Makers often identify their goods under the seat. Nice looking chair, though.

With the thousands of furniture makers and the thousands of furniture makers who left no records, you pretty much need a label to know anything about a maker. There just is no book on all the makers.
